Researchers at the University of Ferrara in Italy have conducted several scientific studies and, as part of the Science Per Aquam project, established protocols on the correct medical use of thermal waters for treating various diseases.
Since the University of Ferrara maintains strict regulations, only highly qualified centers can join the Science Per Aquam network.

We are pleased to announce that last year, Tbilisi Balneological Spa Resort was officially recognized by the University of Ferrara as the Science Per Aquam center in Georgia.
The synergy between Tbilisi Balneological Spa Resort and the Science Per Aquam project was already presented to 79 countries on October 25, 2024, at the v-WINdonesia World Congress in Bali.

As part of the project, scientific and educational events have been scheduled for 2025, with a particular focus on health and wellness services, in which Tbilisi Balneological Spa Resort will actively participate. The March 10 visit was undertaken as a step toward launching new scientific research, aiming to provide evidence-based validation of mineral water treatments for lymphodermal diseases.
